Information about the Station
Before Bernmobil tram ran on line 6, it was only trains that were allowed to run in the city of Bern, but now there are also tram running on this same line. So the station was equipped with a reversing loop, so that the tram could drive off in the opposite direction. In the middle of this loop, the square is the official bus stop.
The building has remained unchanged since its construction, but for the S-Bahn 7 line, a covered platform with a park-and-ride above provides shelter for passengers in bad weather.
